Are My Transactions Secure?

All orders on our site are 100% secure. We use industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow encryption of sensitive information such as your name, address and credit card details.Any SSL-enabled browser will transfer your transaction information confidentially by scrambling your information before sending it to our shopping cart for us to decode. That means that even if someone managed to intercept your data between your computer and our shopping cart, they would be unable to read it.

At the bottom left-hand side of our checkout page you will see two logos - Security Metrics and VeriSign.  Clicking on either of these links will rovide details of our online security certificate status.

MartialArtsYoungAndOld.com is covered under the security certificates of our host, StoresOnlinePro.com.  This is the URL that should appear at the top of your web-browser during the checkout process.

Will you see my credit card number?

No!  That is one of the benefits of entering your order online.  We never see your credit card information, that information is seen and processed only by the processing bank.  In our case the merchant account processor is Optimal Payments.  Of course, if you choose to place your order over the phone we will have to enter your credit card information manually and in that case we do see it.  However, you can rest assured that credit card information is destroyed as soon as it is entered with the credit card processor.  We do not retain that information!

What Protection Do I Have Against Credit Card Fraud?

Certain types of protection may apply to you in the case of credit card fraud. By law, your credit card agreement must explain your maximum liability (no more than $50) in the case of a lost or stolen credit card, or the unauthorized use of your credit card number.

If you find unauthorized transactions on your credit card account, here are some steps you can take to find out whether you can be reimbursed:

Contact your credit card issuer immediately and report the unauthorized transactions. Record the name of the person you spoke to, as well as the date and time of your call. File a report with the local police. They will give you a report number that you should keep, since your credit card company may ask for this number.
Check your credit card agreement to verify your liability limit.
Find out if your credit card issuer has a fraud protection policy regarding unauthorized credit card transactions.
